BC Hydro Morris Valley Distribution Reinforcement Project
BC Hydro put out a news release that discloses plans to build a new feeder route for power from Kent Substation. This should improve Hemlock Valley Utility’s service to the community and to Sasquatch Mountain Resort. BC Hydro estimates the work should be completed sometime in the spring of 2024. FireSmart Neighbourhood Assessments
Working with consultant BA Blackwell, the Fraser Valley Regional District will be conducting a FireSmart Neighbourhood Assessment for Hemlock Valley. Scheduled for spring 2022.
